Another doll?

So I am awaiting the arrival of my best friend and her sister's dolls that I ordered (Tensiya Hound and DoC Si) and I'm thinking "I'm not gonna get anymore dolls for a very long time..." Until I saw him:

Damn this expensive disease! >< So with my tax return I'm buying a computer AND Bernard... XD
Also, I spoke to Don, BishonenHouse Master (:P) and he gave me an estimate for a custom Zechs doll... And now... I must start saving up because I don't think I can resist that... I'm so excited... Plus My best friend wants a Husky now for her birthday next year AND her sister wants a DoC Twing-key! O-o So hopefully, aside with all of my conventions and cosplays, and other things... I can afford this... ^^;
I can't wait. But at the same time I can. ^^;

Also, next year, I might have my boutique up. My best friend and I are planning on opening an online boutique for cosplay props and costumes and doll clothes and accessories. We currently do commissions now, but hopefully after we get the other two we can start preparing for it. I'm excited about that too. I have so many awesome designs in my head and such that I can't wait to get them out and share them with everyone. ^^ Ok, that's enough rambling for now. I don't have any new pictures, so ummm... yea. ^^;

*sigh* I have somuch to upload it's not funny. I promie I'll get to it eventually. I've been working alot and my lack of cmputer makes it hard. I do have so interesting news though.

I FINALLY got my hands on a White Riche set from Luts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's actually on it's way now!!! I can't wait!!!!!

And even bigger news, I ordered my best friend's doll for Xmas today. ^_______________^
Normal Skin Hound from Tensiya.

His name is Jacinthe. We have clothes and stuff all ready for him too. ^^ And Tensiya was also kind enough to sell me a Hound bag from $10!!!! Now I'll finally have a doll carry bag for Jade, and it'll be WAAAAY cheaper than what those bags normally cost. ^____^ Weeee!! I can't wait to play with him! Cause I'm still debating on getting another doll for myself. But next doll purchase will be a DoC Si from my best friend's sister from xmas.^^

Horray! i finally get to upload these!!! First off, the fish yukata top and pants I got from someone on DOA, including the boots. ^^ The Last three outfits (outfit set, shirt and skirt) were made entirely by my best friend for me. ^^ But anyway, I'll just show them off. ^^

And also, some new goodies for her. ^^ I got her some new hairclips, decks of cards, which one is going to my friend's Hound. And eraser food. But seeing as these are kinda small for her, i might end up giving them to my friend's sister, who's getting a Si...

Anyway, recently I noticed Jade's eyelashes coming off, and I asked on DOA about it. A girl told me to try Elmer's glue cause she uses it and it stays put and comes off with water. ^^ So I did and those eyelashes aren't going anywhere!! Also it was first time taking out Jade's eyes. I was kinda scared to at first. O_o They were so cool! I wanted to fool around and put them in different angles, but, I decided not to cause i was still nervous with just having them out. ^^;... So yea, right now, my friend is making her a Cirque du Soleil dress from the new show Corteo to wear to Otakon. It's a HUGE floofy angel dress. I can't wait! ^____^ I'm also gonna tweek Winry, and maybe make another costume for her? I dunno yet. But that's all I have right now! So enjoy!

Connecticon Meetup and Shoot!

Hey everyone! Wow, i never get to update right away do I? XD Connecticon was a BLAST!!!! The best con EVER! It was so much fun! And now i have a bunch of photos to share with you! My first meetup was the best! Everyone was SO NICE and they really loved Jade! ^^ So first, here's some cosplay photos of her! Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2 and Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist. ^^

On to the Panel shoot! Jade got to meet Traian, a Lahoo. ^^ I took some lovely photos of them together. His owner was such a nice person! I really liked talking to her. ^^ Her friend laughed tho, and told me that that was the most of a girl that he's ever got. XD

Also, I have made plans that for Xmas, I'm getting my best friend a Hound from Tensiya (she love in love with him!) and naming him Jasinthe, and her little sister a DoC Si and naming him Luca! I can't wait! This is their Xmas presents tho, and I'm excited to get them for them. ^^ This means Jade won't be lonely anymore! XD Cause i have no idea when I'm gonna get Claire (CP El). Hey! It's been a while! I've been extremely busy and last week me and my best friend were in a car accident, so that pushed us back a bit on costumes and sewing. We're ok though. ^^

I've been slaving over the sewing machine on costumes for me and Jade, cause tomorrow is Connecticon! ^^ I'm so excited. I havta sew together Jade's and all I be completely done and ready! So when I come back, I promise I'll have lotsa piccis for ya. ^^ Take care, and see you after the con!

Hey guys! Been a while! Gonna kick things off with a photostory! I realised that Jade and Izzi have never met yet! So I decided to do a quickie, cause I have semthing awesome for the last bits! ^^

Nikki: Hey Jade, you've never met Izzi yet, have you?

Nikki: ^^; Izzi is another doll, one that my best friend gave me. Would you like to meet her?

Hey guys! haven't updated in a while. Well I got a treat! Lotsa picci for you and more to come soon!

First off, my cosplay club is holding a picnic in July and we're having a badge art contest. I asked if I could sumit a photo instead of a drawing. (since i can't come up with anything) It was approved, so I decided to make Jade our mascot Gwen's dress, but only with a shifted color pallete and a few alterations. ^^ The original dress is blue and white. Mine is green and white. I was waiting for nice weather (after 2 weeks of solid rain...)and today I think is the day! But for now, here's the pics of her new dress. ^^

Yes, this is me... I am exhausted in this picture because I was awake since 3am that day (time i get up for work...) and it was like 10pm i think. A very crappy image of me, believe me, I do look better than that. XD A better picture later.

Teehee, and the funny thing is, I have a pink dolphin plush named momo, soon to have a momo plush from samurai champloo, and in pichi pichi pitch there's a pink dolphin named momo. Everything's named Momo! XD! But I really did think the name fit him, so... yea. And i have no idea if Chinchilla's even make noises. XD!

I've been sooooooo busy and I promise I have pics soon! I just recently bought a buncha things for Jade, a new shirt, and some toys, and I'm currently working on a cosplay for her. ^^ It's coming along well. I've also been making really nice jewlery for her as well, obtaining chain is a wonderful thing. ^^ I also managed to get vol 7 of Dolly Dolly. And it was a really hard decision between vol 7 and vol 9, cause vol 9 had a whole section on BlueFairy dolls. T.T I wanted both, but I couldn't afford it at the time. So I'll get it eventually. ^^ It's a neat magazine. Just in my opinion, too many Blythe dolls in it. *shivers* Those things scare me. T.T

So yea! And I also just got an iPod video, so now I can carry piccis of Jade with me! XD (not like she doesn't already come with me everywhere anyway. ^^;)

Yes, Happy belated Easter to everyone. ^^ I stayed up for 2-3 hours on Sat night making Jade a pretty little Easter dress. ^^ And I'm pretty happy with it. ^^ I also made her the matching sunhat and the stockings, which were so easy and fun! ^^ My best friend had given me a soft little pink bunny plush, and that's what you see Jade with. I sorta gave it to her. ^^ So here are the pictures we took of her at my friend's Grandparents house. Enjoy!

Jade: Thank you so much! I love the dress! I had fun on Easter. Jen's little cousins kept stairing at me though. O-o
Nikki: That's ok, they're little boys, they don't get it. ^^;

Oh yea, and if I didn't mention this, Jade's left leg had an accident right after I got her. But this week I am expecting a replacement for it. The part where her knee bends against the upper part, (the joint) had a crack in it, when she arrived. I just didn't realise what it was cause I was so happy over her. But I'm expecting her new leg any day now. But I'll feel bad restringing her. O_o My friend's gonna help .^^; Just thought I'd mention that.

Here's old pictures, from a few weeks ago. (i'll be posting three new entries for all my piccis. ^^;)

When I took Jade out, I got her some things. I got her a chinese lantern with fishies on it, I got her a pink backpack from Build a Bear. ^^ The people were stairing at her the whole time. XD I also bought a box of Japanese Ochaken (tea dog) snacks and it came with a little keychain that wiggled his ears when you push the button on his head. ^^;

I also have some shots of her pretty floral dress (not finished in the pics) and a small and also not finished outfit.

And because I'm in love with her face, two shots of her eye and lips. ^^ *squeal*

Jade cosplaying for the first time!! Kairi from Kingdom Hearts II. Hot glue is my best friend! I made it mostly outta felt and ribbon, and halfassed the dress on the day we left for the con. ^^; It came out cute though. ^^; And some pics of her from the con. ^^ She was famous! A buncha doll people kept tackling me saying "OMG! I've been hearing about a DoT Shall at the con! The infamous Shall! I have to see her!" I was surprised. But out of all the doll people I met there, only a couple were really nice and talked to me. Most of them would be very drawn back and not really come near me. Or ignore the fact that I was there. I was a little hurt. I also had a person diss Jade, and I wasn't very happy. >< But besides that, it was fun. ^^

Been too long, no? I have many piccis to share with you, but for now, I cannot, because I am about to go out. I have ordered the new part for Jade, so she won't be injured anymore. Plus Jade was famous at her first convention! XD Although... I'm not sure I liked the doll people I met, very much.... And they were like my first doll group I've ever met. *shrug* I'll have more soon. Including a new icon. ^^; Cause yea, this ones old. Ta for now!

I have been very busy and Jade had a little accident. T.T A piece of her kneecap broke off, but thankfully I've repaired it for now and DoD is going to send me a replacement. Poor baby...
I took Jade shopping last weekend to Toys R Us, JoAnne's fabrics, and Crossgates mall. The girls at hot Topic LOVED her. ^^ I got her a backpack from Build A Bear, an asian fish lantern from some Asian store, and a Ochaken keychain from Lee's Market. ^^ We also started a new lovely dress as you can see. It's not done yet, but will be soon. ^^ I also made her a little sunhat to match her now finished dress. ^^ This is only a quickie cause I'm about to go out in a few minutes. So enjoy for now. ^^

Btw, yesterday was Jade's first public appearance. ^^ I took her to my eye doctor appointment with my friend and her sister. They had a little girl's jaw drop when she saw Jade and the mother went nuts over her. Then we went to Wal-mart for fabric and cosplay stuff and the ladies at the fabric section went crazy. They really loved her. They thought I made her. XD! the my friend accidently pulled her wig off and one of the ladies turned to the other and said "hey she looks like you now!" the woman laughed and said "Yes, but mine might grow back." I think she has cancer and had therapy. But she took the comment well. ^^; i got velcro for her head so now, no more chemo doll, like one of my friends called her. ^^;

So last night Jade arrived in the US I believe. ^^ It said she arrived 6:45pm at Kennedy AMC. Me and my friends were all thinking Kennedy airport in NY, so I hope it's true. But what AMC stands for I have NO IDEA. So I freak out for a good few hours. I wake up this morning, (my day off) it was like 10am and I figured I'd check on Jade then go work on cosplays and such. Well I tracking the tracking and now I'm concerned... It said at 2:45am the package was Misrouted and they're doing everything they can to find it, redirect it and send it to me on time.... I'm worried... It's happened to other people before from what I heard... So I have to wait til this evening to find out where she is... I'm scared and HOPE TO GOD that she doesn't get lost in the mail. If they don't find her by tomorrow I'm going to call my post office and ask them about it. *sigh* Figures, I'm so close to her... then this had to happen... I'm trying to keep my worries down and use it to work on cosplays today... I'll let you know what happens, hopefully she'll be here soon and my mind can rest easy... *shakes*

This tues will mark my 5th week of waiting. Since so many people have been getting theirs in 5 weeks, I'm really hoping that I will too. I've been checking my email religiously just because. ^^ I have started making her a lovely dress. I keep buying fabric to make her such pretty things.
